In August 2007, Mr. Huang joined China Renaissance as a vice president where he focuses on the wireless, gaming and new media sectors. Mr. Huang has eight years of experience in the Internet and new media sectors in various leadership positions.
Prior to joining China Renaissance, Mr. Huang created China Broad Media, a leading provider of interactive radio in China. Mr. Huang served as CEO and helped the company complete the first and second rounds of equity financing of $1 and $10 million, respectively. Primary investors included W.I. Harper and SAIF. He also established Galaxy Radio, an online radio station co-managed by China Broad Media and China National Radio.
Prior to China Broad Media, Mr. Huang worked at China.com (Nasdaq: CHINA), an online portal, where he led the creation and operation of the wireless business segment. During his time at China.com, Mr. Huang collaborated in the writing of the business plan for Monternet, China Mobile¡¯s value-added service provider.
