Mr. Zhou Xiang joined China Renaissance in Apr 2006. As an Associate, Mr. Zhou is responsible for transaction execution, as well as research and business development of Food & Beverage and Real Estate sectors.
Mr. Zhou participated in several restructuring and private placement transactions, including $37.5mn restructuring of Shenzhen Minrun Supermarket Chain by Ashmore, $31.5mn Series B private placement of ChinaCache, the largest CDN service provider in China, $54.2mn Series C private placement of Ambow Group, the leading education technology and service provider in China, $30mn Series B private placement of China Virtual Telecom, the only national virtual number service provider in China, $20mn Series B private placement of 56.com, one of the leading video sharing site in China and $44mn Series B private placement of 21ViaNet, the largest internet infrastructure service provide in China. Prior to joining China Renaissance, Mr. Zhou worked with an US consultant company and ING Group as an intern.
Mr. Zhou graduated from Peking University with a master degree, majored in Statistics.
