Kevin Yung has over 10 years of principal investing experience working in the principal investment departments of Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and J.P. Morgan in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Mr. Yung joined China Renaissance in early 2007 and successfully led the following transactions:

Ambow Education 每 Series C from Macquarie Bank and Avenue Capital
Century21 China 每 Series B from Avenue Capital
Universal Education Group 每 Series A from Sequoia Capital and Legend Capital
RYB Education Institute 每Series A from Avenue Capital and Scholastic
Digital Knowledge Universe 每 Series B from a prestigious international investor
Prior to joining China Renaissance, Mr. Yung worked in Special Situations Group of Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, where he was responsible for the overall execution of private equity investment opportunities focusing on growth companies across all industries in Asia with a specific focus in China.
Prior to that, Mr. Yung worked in the Real Estate Principal Investing Group of Morgan Stanley, where he was responsible for the overall execution of real estate and distressed asset acquisition and financing in Asia. Mr. Yung was involved in the acquisition of the US$1.3 billion NPL portfolio from China Huarong Asset Management Company, the first such acquisition by a foreign investor in China. Mr. Yung also participated in structuring and execution of the first securitizations backed by distressed assets in both Japan and Korea.
Prior to moving to Asia, Mr. Yung worked in the Real Estate Principal Investing Groups of Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan in New York.
Mr. Yung holds a double degree of Economics and Finance from Babson College in Massachusetts.
